Why the change?

From Hauppauge to Holtsville

NYGunShows.com proudly continues the legacy of Long Island’s most recognized firearms and outdoor events. Our roots trace back to the Long Island Sportsman & Outdoors Show, founded in the early 1990s and best known for its iconic Hauppauge Gun Show. For decades, that show was a staple of the Long Island sportsman community — bringing together firearm collectors, hunters, outdoor enthusiasts, and industry professionals from across the region.

Building on that foundation, our team took over operations and successfully ran four major gun shows in Hauppauge, maintaining the quality, professionalism, and strong attendance the show was known for. When the venue’s union hall later changed its policy regarding firearm-related events, gun shows were no longer permitted at that location — prompting us to seek a new home and begin the next chapter.

In September 2025, NYGunShows.com proudly partnered with the IBEW Local 1049 Sports & Outdoors Committee in Holtsville to launch the premier new gun show on Long Island. Featuring over 135 vendor tables, the debut event became Long Island’s largest gun show, setting a new standard for size, organization, and vendor diversity.

Today, NYGunShows.com is committed to hosting safe, compliant, and professionally run gun shows that support responsible firearm ownership, small businesses, collectors, and the broader outdoor community. Our events bring together trusted dealers, manufacturers, accessory companies, and private collectors — while maintaining strict adherence to all New York State and local regulations.

NYGunShows.com isn’t just a new name.
